At the end of 2018, the manufacturer’s Huepar brand “Levelsure” began selling two new laser levels: 603CG and 603CR, with a green and red beam, respectively. These devices are professional, build on 3 planes of 360 degrees.
Note that the Firecore brand has released similar devices, but still there are differences from Huepar. Namely in the configuration and material of protective towers. The hero of our today’s review is the Huepar 603CG with a green beam.
It is also worth noting that the device meets European and American quality standards. As evidenced by the large number of abbreviations of passed certifications on the battery cover.

Important information! Since the summer of 2020, an updated model with a Bluetooth module. Under the same name, only with the prefix “BT”, has been on sale.
To control the level using your phone via Bluetooth, you need to download a small app in the Play Market on Android or the App Store on IOS. The app is called “Huepar”. It is very easy to find it by entering the name in the search bar of these markets.
The app allows you to not only fully remotely control the laser planes and additional functions, but also adjust the brightness of the laser lines.

Housing Huepar 603CG
Huepar 603CG is made of high-quality plastic, rubberized on all sides. The build quality is very high. In General, it makes a pleasant impression, there is a feeling of a high-quality device. And the weight of the level is quite heavy.
In the same way, the body of the nearest competitor – the laser level Firecore F93T-XG is made. The only thing is that the protective towers are made of plastic, not metal.
The towers are made of metal, which is perceived as some kind of aluminum alloy.
There is also a slight difference from the same devices. But with plastic towers – the minimum distance to the wall is a little more, not 0.8 mm, but 1.2 cm. The Protective glasses are made without anti-glare protection, but nevertheless parasitic small laser lines are practically absent.
Dust and moisture protection class IP54. The switch buttons are located on the top and are one with the body. There are also indicators of battery charge, receiver operation mode and blocked compensator.
The bottom has two threads for the tripod and the battery cover with a secure latch. At the rear end of the power connector with a rubber plug.
Compensator
Leveling system, as in similar devices, is of the pendulum type with magnets. The alignment range is ± 4 degrees. The time for installing the compensator in the working position takes just over 2 seconds. If the angle of inclination of the device exceeds 4 degrees, the beams often flash, without an audible warning.
In the off state, the pendulum is blocked, there is almost no backlash, only a slight oscillation is barely audible when shaking violently.
Huepar 603CG control
The toggle switch on (quite tight by the way) has two positions. When turned off, it keeps the pendulum locked, and when turned on, the horizontal plane is activated.
Next, when you click the “LASER” button, the horizontal is disabled and the transverse vertical is enabled.
The second click turns on the longitudinal vertical (now two verticals are lit). When you press the third button, the horizontal lights up again. Now all three planes.
Then the cycle repeats. Pressing the P button turns on the receiver mode, and all the enabled planes start to light up a little dimmer.
Now about the mode with the blocked compensator. It is activated as follows: when the device is turned off, you need to press the “LASER” button for a long time. Then the switching algorithm is the same. But with the fourth short press, all the planes go out, the device turns off.
Receiver operation mode is also available when working with a blocked compensator. The fact that the compensator is blocked is reminded by flashing beams every 5 seconds and a red indicator on the control panel.
Functional
The laser level Huepar 603CG allows you to build three planes of 360 degrees. Which in turn makes it possible to use it for all types of work, whether it is plaster, screed, tile laying, marking walls and partitions. Due to the crosshairs on the floor and ceiling, a full plumb line is obtained.
The maximum power variation is also offered: from a battery, four AA batteries, or from the mains using a power supply unit (it is also a charger).
In the latter case, you can work without the battery in the battery compartment, while 4 charging indicators blink. But to include the device in charging when you are in the compartment of AA batteries is not recommended.

And more. Not so long ago, this company released a new 4D laser level Huepar 904DG. Which projects four planes of 360 degrees: 2 horizons and 2 verticals. But you can order it only in China.
The thickness of the laser line
This level uses laser modules manufactured by Sharp, which guarantees a clear and bright line. At a distance of 1 meter, the thickness was 1.5 mm.
Also excellent result at 5 meters
At a distance of 10 meters, the line was just over 2 millimeters thick. Agree, these are just excellent indicators!
Measurements were also made on the street-during the day in cloudy weather and at night. During the day, the line is visible at 10 meters with the target. And at night at a distance of more than 50 m. The line thickness at this distance is more than a centimeter.

How to do calibrate at the laser level
As a rule, all laser levels come from the factory configured according to the declared characteristics. But during the delivery process, things may not be predictable. You can also drop the device during use and disrupt its accuracy.

Possibility of mounting
The level can be attached using two types of threads: 1/4 and 5/8 inches. Included with the device is a magnetic holder with a 1/4-inch screw for attaching the device. Also, this magnetic holder at the base has two standard 1/4 and 5/8 inch threads for mounting to a tripod or rod.
